The Urban Churches Support Group is a special programme of the Thames North and Southern Synods of The United Reformed Church.
UCSG supports and encourages local churches in urban areas be that inner city, outer estates or older towns.
UCSG seeks to remind the wider church of the gifts and challenges which are present in our urban churches.

Latest news
UCSG will be moving on to a new phase of its life this year. Sandra Ackroyd who is been coordinator for over 10 years is retiring and James Ashdown who has worked for UCSG for a similar time is also moving on. We are very glad that Rev. John Campbell, presently principal of Northern College and formerly a minister in Hackney will be returning to London as minister of High Cross URC, Tottenham. A quarter of his time will be spent as coordinator of UCSG. We are hoping a similar appointment will be made in Southern Synod. It is an exciting time for us as John and other members of the Network take forward UCSG into a new era!
