We are developing this new area of work in UCSG in 2010/11 and have three main areas of interest

• Making contact with people in churches who are doing community work, this may be part of the explicit mission of the church or something done by church members
• Hearing and telling the stories of church based community work for more details click here
• Exploring what it means to do community work in a time of recession

We are particularly interested in small-scale, grassroots work which is mainly done by volunteers
